Face portraits

I recreated the image on the left. I made some changes on positioning the person. I coloured the lips red because I think it is the highlight of the picture. I drew the eyes closed, so the person looks chill. Both images look similar, but they express different feelings.

I drew this image base on a photography of myself. I came up with this idea randomly one day. I choose an image in my album that includes lighting, shades and tone. I then draw it out on a piece of paper. The face is not difficult to draw, but I find the hand not very easy. Especially when my hand is curled inward and two fingers are stretch on my face.

This drawing contains lines and many different techniques. It is a fun piece to draw.

I always like to mimic drawings from the internet as practices, and I also like to change the details of the drawings. The top right image is an copy of the image on the left. Base on the original copy, I add some accessories to it to make it look more fashionable.

This is an drawing I found occasionally. It was drew by me a few years ago. I feel it is great to post on the website. I came up with the idea from Chinese fashion, but in a very ghostly way. I used Chinese ink painting to paint the darker part.
Photography
I have a beautiful view outside my window. Everyday I can see different things through my window, especially the sun, therefore I take out my phone and record what I see everyday outside of my window. For some photos, I use filters and I change the hues of them. I find this exciting and it is great to see the change in weather everyday.

A capture of a hanging sculpture from where I saw in an art show. The sculpture is built with metals and mirrors, I turned the photo black and white, so that the beauty of the sculpture can better be presented.

There is a sculpture park across where I live. I took this picture on a nice day. The hands are transparent, so the blue sky and the white clounds can be seen through the hands. I really like this sculpture because it symbolizes life. The hands are well structured and the lines in them really shows a lot of information. They are like threads and they maybe represent age.
