Photographs I am inspired from↑
On this cover I designed, I merge a few different elements together that I want to present. The girl in the front is a portray of myself. I copy my face from a picture I took from the summer. In the original image, I am holding a huge cushion with a cute sunflower designed by Murakami Takashi. The cushion is popular this year and I also like it a lot, but does not reflect me in the best way. When I was looking up for inspiration on the internet, I saw a picture of a bundle of fabulous leaves. The unique shapes and lines of them caught my eyes, so I decided to replace the cushion with those leaves. I love nature and I thought the addition of the greens would put an emphasis on my greatest passion. In order to make the bouquet look full, I added a violet hydrangea behind the leaves. Hydrangea is my favourite flower and it is very magical. It begins to green and it turns into either pink or violet depend on the PH value of the water. It blooms in late spring and it looks plump all the time. In the original picture, I was wearing my own casual clothes. In this drawing, I change my outfit into a white slip dress. Not only because the dress can better shape the body, the white colour also does not bother with other features on my cover. It also embodies a sense of sincerity.
In the background, I cut out a square paper and divided it into sixteen smaller squares. On each of the squares I used black markers in different thickness to draw out shapes, lines and patterns filled with black ink or left blank. I love to play with different colours, but I still employ black and white the most. Both colours make the image look neat. Drawing lines and orderly shapes have become a tradition of my sketchbooks. I do them every year, and they are the icons of my sketchbooks. They make my sketchbooks unique from others and easy to identify.

On top of the cover, there are three printed images of some artists and painting I praise. I have Tom Dixon, who is an interior designer from Britain. He is a very creative, he designed the famous Lava chandelier. I really like his work and how he create things without conventions. Beside Dixon is a drawing in the Japanese, Ukiyo-e style. It is a woman in delicate kimono. The picture beside is covered by the portrait. I am attracted to the Japanese clothes and how they draw the odd facial expressions. It is a Chinese calligraphy painting by the Artist Beihong Xu. Xu was famous for his horses. His horses look like as if they are really running. He had done a great job on balancing the space and the black ink. I like horses and I am amazed by his masterpieces. The last picture is Christion Dior, the French Fashion designer, and his design. Dior was an extravagant designer. He created many classics and he define women's elegance through his works. I had chances to visit the exhibition of his collection in the past few years. I every time I stare at the dresses, I hold my breath because they are too beautiful. I cannot move my eyes away from Dior's creation.
